Interested in knowing how you can support Utah’s AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) during this legislative session?  It’s easy.

• Stay Engaged.  Things happen very quickly during the 45-day session so it’s important to stay engaged.
  
  
• Be Responsive.  Our legislators are overwhelmed with issues every day for 45 days, so we have to strike when the iron is hot.  When you receive an Action Alert, please respond quickly.
  
  
• Action Needed.  Email members of the House Health and Human Services Committee, Senate Health and Human Services Committee, Health and Human Services Appropriations Subcommittee and Executive Appropriations.

Dear Senator or Representative,

I am writing to you as a member of our community to ask for your support for Utah’s AIDS Drug Assistance Program.  This program needs an additional $275,000.

While Utah has in the past made contributions to the ADAP program, it currently is one of the few states in the nation that makes no contribution.  A reinstated contribution will maintain the program at a satisfactory level of service.
